INTRODUCTION:

                              Chemical engineering is related with broad range of activities that have direct impact on the operation of industries and overall design of the equipments and plants. Many factories and distilleries require chemical engineers. So it has wide range of scopes.
                              In the context of Nepal,there are many industries without chemical engineers. So there are great opportunities of jobs in this field. This subject is available only in Kathmandu University(KU) in Nepal. KU has started this programme recently. It is an initiation which can bring revolutionary change in industrial development. I would suggest students who are willing to do engineering to think about chemical engineering once.

ELIGIBILITY:

Minimum 2.4 GPA in aggregate and minimum C+ in PCM and minimum C in other subjects. Mathematics is compulsory.
